2008 Summer Adventure
Learn To Sail A Sunfish Sailboat
at Scotts Flat Lake

June 23rd through June 27th

 For Students Ages 9 to 18

PARENT ORIENTATION, KNOTS and SWIM TEST at SCOTTS FLAT LAKE on a date yet to be announced (check back for an update)

June 23 - June 27: On The Water Training each day from 10:00am - 4:00pm

Cost is $150 per family for one student (deduct $75 if already a GCYC member)

Total Price covers the following:

 US Sailing Junior Membership
 US Sailing / American Red Cross "Start Sailing Right" Book
 US Sailing "Racing Rules of Sailing" Book
 US Sailing Discounts
 Training Handouts
 30 Hours of Instruction and UNLIMITED FUN!!!

This class is taught by certified US Sailing Dinghy Instructors with American Red Cross First Aid and CPR Certificates.
Class size is limited to 12 students. Students will learn the skills necessary to care for and sail single-handed a small sailboat.

History
A Junior Sailing Program was added as one of the many club activities during the spring of 1997. This program is designed to instruct young sailing enthusiasts about seamanship, safety and the joys of sailing. Our certified US Sailing instructors will put the young mariners through their paces.
