ANNOUNCEMENTS

 


The Post offers a monthly dinner for all members and guests on the first Tuesday
of each month.
The September dinner will be held on Tuesday, September 7, at the Veterans Memorial Building, 255 S. Auburn Street, Grass Valley.
Cost is $9 per person and reservations are required.
Call 530-272-2160 for reservations, BEFORE Monday, Sept 6.

The lounge opens at 5:30 PM and dinner is served at 6:30 PM.




 

The Post holds its regular membership meetings on the second Tuesday of each month at 2 PM. The Post meets at the Veterans Memorial Building, 255 S. Auburn Street, Grass Valley. All members are encouraged to attend.



The Post holds its Executive Committee meetings on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 2 PM. The Executive Committee meets at the Veterans Memorial Building, 255 S. Auburn Street, Grass Valley. All members are encouraged to attend.


 

Our American Legion "All Veterans Honor Guard" has participated in numerous ceremonies, burials,

and memorials for veterans.  The Honor Guard is always there to give a veteran the final respect

and the taps ceremony.  The Honor Guard desperately needs volunteers to assist in this honor to

our veterans.

Mission of the American Legion Auxiliary is to serve veterans, their families and their communities. In support of our mission we adhere to the following principles:
To support the American Legion programs for veterans, young people and the community.
To advance the understanding of patriotism and responsibility of citizenship.
To promote individual integrity and family values.
To serve others first and not self.


ELIGIBILITY:
All women who are the mothers, daughters, wives, sisters, grandaughters, great-grandaughters and grandmothers of members of the American Legion or of those who served during a conflict and are now deceased or women who are eligible for membership in the American Legion in their own right.
