Five Dot Reservoir
Five Dot Reservoir is a 400 acre private lake up in the
Susanville area. Five Dot is home to some of the largest
rainbows available in California. The average fish is 4-6 lbs.
with many going over 10 lbs. For $150 per angler you can
fish five dot and it includes the use of a float tube w/fins
or a small pram (tubes and prams must be reserved at least a
week in advance). The lake is limited to 15 anglers at
any time. The seasons run
from mid April through the end of June and then it reopens in
the beginning of September and runs through the end of
October. The lake is open Thursday through Sunday and
reservations must be made in advance.

Smith Creek Ranch
Smith Creek Ranch located outside Fallon Nevada is a private
Trophy Trout Fishery. It is located on an exclusive 2,800 acre
ranch at an elevation of 6,600 feet 2 1/2 hours east of Reno.
Bed and Breakfast style accommodations at the ranch house
include hardy meals and comfortable rooms. Fish here
average over 3 lbs and some reach the 10 lb. class.
Personalized casting instruction is available when requested
in advance. Fishing equipment will be furnished upon
request at no additional charge (excluding flies). 1/2 day
fishing $100/person. Full day fishing $125/person
