What is COTR all about?

Our pastor, Dr. Jerry Stroup, received the call to come to Nevada County in the summer of 1990. His desire is to see a church raised up, built on the Rock Christ Jesus. Evangelism of the lost and maturation of the saints is his goal. He has pastored several churches and evangelized across America and overseas. He achieved his Doctrate at Oral Robert University in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He has six children, all married. He believes in the family, and desires to help families come to their full potential in God.

There are five points in building the Kingdom of God.

1. Our central Person is Jesus. 2. Our central purpose is prayer. 3. Our central concern is caring for people. 4. Our central opportunity is the stewardship of what God has put in our hands. 5. Our central responsibility is evangelism.
