FOOTHILL FIBERS GUILD LIBRARY

The guild library is kept at the home of Sue Robertson, 11367 Deer Creek Lane, Nevada City. You may call her (265-0447) to make arrangements to visit the library or ask her to bring your selection to the next guild meeting.

You may have three items checked out at one time (only one video). All items have a one month check out. Books and magazines may be renewed for one additional month, but videos must be returned after one month to allow others to check them out. Guild members are responsible for replacing lost items in kind, or with a replacement agreed upon with the current guild board.

The guild has two rag cutters (one for narrow fabric, one that cuts wider strips). There are four inkle looms, a kumihimo stand, and a copper pipe loom for knotted pile. If you wish to check out any of these items, you will need to leave a $25 deposit for each piece of equipment with the librarian. Your check will not be cashed as long as the item you have borrowed is returned. The check out time for these items is two months.

The entire library list is available at www.librarything.com/catalog/foothillfibers

The items can be sorted by title, author, publication date, or subject tags. There are also reviews of some of the items. The library includes the following subjects: Basketry, dyeing, felting, knitting, spinning weaving, and some miscellaneous books covering surface design, kumihimo, macramé, crochet and clothing.
