Ten boats on the line for racing on July 11, 2004
Winds were shifty and gusty from 5-10 knots, with lots of 'holes'

Sunny, clear day for racing on Scotts Flat Lake
Race committee Jeremy Gicker ran courses B (triangle), A (windward/leeward) and then B again.

The last leg of the second race saw the wind shift 45 degrees to make it a single beat back to the line

MoBettah
looking good in upwind trim mode

Jolly Roger
making her way to the finish line; note the flat water but strong breeze.... ah, lake sailing at its best

However, here's Sailynn in one of the many "wind holes" that mysteriously appeared around the lake

Mental Floss
trying to keep up with just a jib....

...while NoCatHare pulls out the big 150% genoa

Even a Lido14 joins in the fun (but tough against the longer Holder 20, Catalina 22s and Capri 22s)

Trouble
getting ready to tack for the finish line on the final leg of the final race of the Spring Series
