If someone you love or care for needs help with diagnosed Alzheimer's Disease, broken hip or surgical rehabilitation, Parkinson's, stroke, brain impairment or is physically challenged, the Larry G. Lutz Center Adult Day Services can provide the safe, stimulating and supporting social environment that you have been needing.

Respite refreshes you, keeping you strong enough to carry out your goal of keeping your loved one at home as long as possible. The ADC has been providing a social outlet for participants, and respite time for caregivers since 1985.

The Larry G. Lutz Center has two ways to meet your needs!

A loving family caregiver and a familiar home are two of the most comforting things a brain-impaired person recognizes. Our routine of light exercise, nutritious meals, thought stimulating games, puzzles and activities often becomes as welcome and expected as a favorite hobby at home. Your mind rests easily when your loved one participates in this safe and affordable day care alternative.

ADC Eligiblity

• Ambulatory (canes, walkers, assistance okay)
• Continent (assistance in restroom okay)
• Non-Violent (agitation okay)

Rates for ADC slide from $34.00 to $10.00 a day according to income.

ADHC Eligiblity

• Have a medical condition that requires treatment or rehabilitation prescribed by a physician.
• Have a mental or physical impairment not requiring 24-hour institutional care, but still handicapping dally living activities.
• Have the expectation that preventative service will maintain or improve present level of functioning.
• Have a high potential for further deterioration and probably institutionalization without ADHC.

Rates for ADHC slide from $55.00 to $35.00 a day according to income.

We accept Medi-Cal for ADHC Services.

Grants and Donations allow the Larry G. Lutz Center to provide low-cost care on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 10AM to 3:30PM. Extended hours are available.
