On Sunday, September 27th, the Nevada County Land Trust will host a "Walking Breakfast" along Litton Trail in Grass Valley to celebrate the completion of Phase I of this wonderful community amenity.

The existing Litton Trail extends approximately 3/5 of a mile between Sierra College Drive and Hughes Road. The trail is graded and gravelled and offers benches for resting along the way, making it easily accessible to people of all ages and abilities.

The Land Trust wants to express its appreciation to everyone who made Phase I of this trail a reality. We also want to focus people’s attention on Phase II of this project, which includes extending Litton Trail across Sierra College Drive.

The Land Trust is working with the college to map out a one-mile loop trail that would connect the existing Litton Trail with the college campus and trails up to Nevada Union High School and Ridge Rd.
