Join long time resident and local historian
Leland Pauley for a story filled tour of Camptonville, which was a major stage coach stop
between Marysville and Downieville during the 1880's. Highlights include historic
buildings and the town cemetery, where thousands of bright orange Humboldt lilies burst
into bloom every June. Visit the Pelton Monument, Masonic Lodge and early mining diggings.
After lunch there will be an optional drive to Pendola Ranch, the Depot Hill Mine
and/or the Sleighville House. |
