Pacific Crest Wildflower Trek

What to bring:
water, lunch, sun protection, hiking shoes, layered clothing
Follow the wildflower progression along the Pacific Crest Trail. The second of our summer "Wildflower Progression Up the Sierras" treks takes you to 8019 feet.

On this trek you will see early summer flowers including lupines, mountain heather and penstemon. In the afternoon, expect to see flowers just emerging from the winter’s snow, with stunning rock garden flowers at Donner Peak.

Not a bad way to spend a summer’s day.
