County! This trek starts with a slide show presented by your leader, Dale Johnson
describing the many factors that came together to create the Nevada Power House or as it
was affectionately called the "Rome Power House" and how it led to the birth of
PG & E.
Then drive to Lake Vera and visit historical sites, like the headdam, learn about the
significance of the Rock Creek Ditch. And, finally hike to view the site of the Rome Power
House near Devil's Slide on the South Yuba River. |
