Odds are that you will end up knowing a lot more about this old mining area than you might
imagine. Join us as we tour the You Bet hydraulic mine, You Bet townsite, and Red Dog
cemetery. Former professor of geology and geography, Jerry Pressler, will guide you
through the past illuminating the way with his wealth of knowledge. This trek will be a 4
hour ramble full of history, geology and cultural geography. Come along and enjoy learning
more about an earlier life in Nevada County! |
