Level: easy

Fee: $15 (members $10). Children with adult are FREE!

Visit the remote birthplace of PG&E, the Yuba Powerhouse. One time resident Dan Barth will show you how this pioneer hydroelectric powerplant looked 100 years ago. You will visit the plant superintendent's Victorian home and walk along 110 year old Browns Valley ditch.

On this easy hike you will enjoy the wildflowers and birds while listening to stories of the native Americans who inhabited the lower Yuba watershed. This is a great family outing.
