Gold, gold, gold! You've heard a lot about it,
but want to know more? This trek will be lead by historian and former inspector of the
Idaho-Maryland Mine, Jack Clark. The backdrop is beautiful Bear Valley. Mr. Clark will
describe the mining that took place at Zeibright. He will share anecdotes about the people
who ran the mine and share many interesting photographs. You will visit the original
buildings, railroad beds and dunes, the portal of the tunnel and the head frame and hoist.
You will also get to see the remnants of the old mill.
Visit the mine museum and lunch on the banks of the Bear River. Don't miss this golden
oldie. |
