EL FLORIDO HOSPITAL BURNED TO THE GROUND
In 1993 LMF helped build and establish a surgery program at the Hospital Filadelfia in the community of El Florido outside Tijuana, Mexico. In October of 1995, Hospital Filadelfia was burned to the ground by thugs who forced their way into the hospital and poured gasoline in the hallways before igniting it. In cooperation with Mexican Medical Ministries, and others, LMF is now working on plans to help rebuild the hospital that serves a district with 500,000 people .
NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR AND PROGRAMS
Most recently LMF has placed Larry Wagner in the position of Executive Director to developing future programs and raise funds to meet the needs of current ministry activity. We recently opened our office in Grass Valley, California, in donated space within the Autometrix complex located near the Nevada County airport.
