On a
120v
20 amp. connection
or a 220v.
30 amp connection,
the heater will turn off when the pump is on high speed
because there is not enough electricity to run the heater
and the high speed pump at the same time. On a
220v.
50 amp connection,
the heater will remain on when the high speed pump is turned
on because there is enough electricity to run both at the
same time.
The following is for a qualified person who
has read the disclaimer (click here). Power to Spa Pack
must be turned OFF at breaker box and
checked with a voltage meter to be sure power
is OFF. Please follow diagram below
MINUS THE
RED WIRE, THE PICTURE BELOW SHOWS THE CONNECTIONS FOR
A 120v 20
amp SETUP.

STEP 2 - For 220v. 50 amp conversion, remove the yellow wire from the "low speed" connection on the tree,
and connect it to the "hot load" connection on the tree.
