The following is for a qualified person who has read the disclaimer (click here). Power to Spa Pack must be turned OFF at breaker box and checked with a voltage meter to be sure power is OFF.  

USING AN OHM METER, CHECK RESISTANCE ACROSS THE HEATER TERMINALS, MAKING SURE THE POWER IS OFF. 

YOU WILL NOT BE REMOVING THE HEATER OR ANYTHING FOR TESTING.

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO DISCONNECT THE WIRES TO THE HEATER FOR TESTING BECAUSE WITH THE POWER OFF THE HEATER RELAY WILL BE OPEN. YOU WILL ONLY NEED TO REMOVE WIRES IF REPLACING HEATER ELEMENT.
