Day 1 Arrive in Hawaii & travel to location where we will be staying. Welcome & orientation
Day 2 Introduction to Hawaiian Mythology. During the tour, explore the incredible healing energies of these islands through personal experience of earth energies, massage, meditation, mythology, & time for relaxing and visiting the beach.
Day 3 Sightseeing in Hilo area. Visit beautiful Akaka Falls State Park. A short nature trail leads through bamboo groves, ferns, ti & orchids to breathtaking Akaka Falls, falling 420 feet down a sheer cliff face. Also visit Rainbow Falls, a cascade in Wailuku River State Park. Also we will tour the Botanical Gardens outside Hilo set in a lush valley next the the ocean. We will have a wonderful picnic lunch today in one of the parks.
Day 4 Introduction to the Energy Medicine, Homeopathy - workshop this AM - Study an exciting and growing system of medicine that is in use all over the world and is coming to popularity again in the United States. In homeopathy the individual is treated, not the disease, using minute, non-toxic doses of plant, mineral, animal or other substances. These substances stimulate the body's own natural healing energies and are very easy to use. Explore the principles of homeopathic medicine and come away knowing how to treat acute conditions with substances that have been proven to be safe, natural and effective. We will focus on how to use homeopathy for minor acutes and first aid. This afternoon, then time for beach, warm ocean springs, steam vents, relaxing.
Day 5 Visit Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Time to view fascinating films in the visitor center giving history of the island & the volcano; the Volcano Art Center; & the Jaggar Museum overlooking Halemaumau Crater, with beautiful displays on vulcanology. We will drive Crater Rim Drive through the ohia forest to the Thurston Lava Tube, a 450-foot lava-tube tunnel set amid a fern forest. We will then hike down into Kilauea Iki Crater for a meditation. This particular vent was active in 1959 spewing lava and now is like being on the moon with steam venting all throughout the crater floor. If there are current active lava flows in the park, we will attempt to drive or walk to them. In other years, Well Within groups have had incredible experiences hiking to lava flows & viewing & filming them. Of course this all depends on Pele.
Day 6 Sightseeing/Beach time
Day 7 To the west coast of Hawaii to Kona. Sightseeing along the way. Time for shopping & walking today.
Day 8 Time for the beautiful beaches of the west coast - swimming & sunning & petroglyphs. Also time for optional tourist activities - submarine trip, glass-bottom boat/snorkeling trips, etc. (extra cost)
Day 9 To airport for flight home or continue on with us to beautiful Kauai.

Day 9 - Flight to Kauai - free time and time for the beach
Day 10 - Travel to the North Shore to beautiful Ke'e Beach and the beginning of the Na Pali trail - hiking, beach walking, sunning, snorkeling, swimming. Located at the end of the road, Ke'e Beach is probably the most visited beach on Kauai. Ke'e's inviting lagoon is teaming wiht fish and perfect for snorkeling. We also will visit the shrine to Laka, the goddess of the Hula, near Ka Ulu a Paoa Heiau. This ancient religious site was dedicated to Paoa, a friend of the legendary Lohiau, lover of Pele, the volcano goddess. We'll also spend some time in lovely Hanalei and the Hanalei Valley.
Day 11 - Travel to the west of the island to wonderful Wiamea Canyon with waterfalls and incredible views. We'll visit the rainiest spot on earth! Visit Hanapepe.
Day 12 - Trip home.

Hawaii, the beautiful volcano island. The home of active Kilauea Volcano with her famed lava flows - home of the goddess Pele. Explore the incredible healing energies of these islands through personal experience of earth energies, meditation, mythology, living your vision and healing.
We will travel throughout most of the island, visiting east & west and much in between with time for quiet time, relaxing, meditating, workshops, eating, sightseeing, learning, swimming & shopping.

They are not your ordinary, large group tours, being herded into buses with little time to experience the energy of the site. We allow special extra time at sacred sites and there is always the option of being with the group or being on your own. Also, meals are usually not included (except breakfasts on some trips) to afford you the opportunity to explore on your own at meal time or eat with the group.
